Arnaud acts for asset management business stakeholders (portfolio management companies, investors) assisting them with their licensing and authorisation applications, structuring investment funds or drafting the agreements required for them to do business (distribution, investment advice, delegation, discretionary mandate, etc.).

Arnaud also assists financial institutions (banks, FinTech companies) with their licensing, authorisation and European passport applications, and with equity interest acquisitions in their capital (ACRP and AMF authorisations).

Generally, Arnaud handles any matter linked to banking and financial regulations (compliance, anti-money laundering, anti-terrorist financing regulations, etc.).

  • Advising a private equity management company on the procedure for transforming a Professional Capital Investment Fund (FPCI) into a SLP (French limited partnership) (autumn 2021).
  • Advising a European private equity manager on marketing and pre-marketing rules applicable in France (November 2021).
  • Advising a French insurance group management company how to structure a Professional Real Estate Collective Investment Undertaking (OPPCI) (2020-2021)*
  • Regularly advising industrial investors or family offices on their investment due diligence in private equity funds, debt funds and real estate funds.
    Regularly advising French and foreign investors on how to structure professional real estate funds (Professional Real Estate Collective Investment Undertakings (OPPCI) and Speciliazed Professional Funds (FPS).

A CRAZY AMBITION?

To have time to travel and discover distant islands far from well-trodden paths, like Sainte-Hélène or the Marquesas Islands.

GOOD DEED FOR THE PLANET?

Measuring my carbon footprint and taking practical and tangible actions to reduce it. I believe it is from taking our everyday actions as the starting point that we will change the situation, and influence public policy and political will.
